Gotta give credit where it is due! The name Aura Art was inspired by none other than my dear friend and "sister" Amanda Young. She is the one I go to when I need a simple and creative name for anything. She's genius in this area! The painting to the left is the latest of my custom Aura Art creations, and the recipient is, of course, Amanda! It is titled "Life Force Energy" and was a powerful experience throughout its creation. I felt a strong sense of appreciation for the life cycles, particularly birth and death, and the often unrecognized beauty of destruction. How can we fully appreciate all the new and wonderful blessings that come to us in life if we do not first clear the way for them by experiencing the destruction of old ways of being? Amanda has a gift in utilizing this destructive energy and truly allowing the new beauty to emerge in its full potential. Acceptance and detachment were also strong feelings I had while creating this painting. It was so freeing, so liberating. It just felt GOOD. And I am honored to share this experience with such an awesome woman. Happy birthday Amanda, and may the universe shower you with infinite blessings and unconditional love, ALWAYS!
