Welcome Paya
Topic: Creatures

PhotobucketWelcome Paya!

Paya came to us last night, via an intuitive rescue by Amanda & her family. She is beautiful, and oh so loving and absolutely passive with the kids! Kenny will torture her and she'll barely flinch! She has made herself totally comfortable and has won the hearts of everyone in the house including my grandma, who thanfully is not allergic to cat fur. She slept outside last night and we found her atop the tallest papaya tree out by the patio. Her survival skills are improving rapidly, with many thanks to the three little dogs who think she might be their newest chew toy. Every is absolutely in love with her, and they make great companions. He snuggles with her, and tells her that he loves her. It has been so long since I have had a pet of my own, and this one could not have come at a better time in my life. I'm amazed at how everything just comes together so perfectly. Paya most definitely chose to live with us, just as she chose Amanda to come and rescue her.Photobucket Animals are just so awesome when it comes to unconditional love! They are so wise, and free of judgment. Cats are funny though. They most definitely create the lives they desire, and can be a bit picky about it sometimes! With many cats, it can take awhile to warm up to them, especially if they are skittish or timid. You basically have to coaxe them into offering affection sometimes! Not Paya though, she will just go up to you and cuddle whether you want it or not! And she is purring almost constantly. I am quite grateful for this little furry bundle of love and joy, and we welcome here into our home to join us on this journey!
